Do you like the idea of Bella having a child?

Well I like the idea but the name of her kid is weird. But her nickname, Nessie, is so much better than Renesmee.

it took me awhile to get that renesmee thing i think it's supposed to be a cross between renee and esme...but i like nessie a lot better. and although i think it's kind of in the same vein with all the other teenage pregnancy stuff that's coming out right about now i think it's cute...edward is adorable with it

i didn't really like the idea at first especially not when it was killing her but i love renesmee so much she is sooo adorable <3 i think the name renesmee is kind of weird but i think its pretty and i don't like the fact she was nicknamed after the loch ness monster but i do like the name nessie too

Yeah i guess i do, i'd prefer her to have more of an active role in Renesmees upbringing & Edward too. It just seems as though everyone else looks after the baby loads and i would have loved to see Edward as a real father figure.

Oh and, i know a lot of people hated it, but i loved the name! I hated it at first because she could have come up with something so muhc better but then once you think, this is Bella picking the name, it totally fits & i like the uniqueness.

Also what did everyone think about having a section written from Jacob Black's perspective? I don't really know how I felt about it except that he was kind of an obnoxious narrator... . Thoughts?

I LOVE the name Renesmee. It's unique, like her, and utterly, inhumanly(hehe) beautiful. I'm with Bella on the 'Renesmee, not nessie' front. I mean, how would you like to be nicknamed after the LOCH NESS MONSTER. As for the narrator switch, yeah, Jacob's arrogant and in-your-face, but that's why we love him (though not as much as we love Edward). He's adorable (ditto)! Although I love Bella's narrations, it's better with Jacob, 'cause he tells it to you straight, while Bella would make it sound no worse than the flu. Also we wouldn't have seen the full force of Edward's emotion, 'cause he toned it down in front of Bella. Also, even before the birth of Renesmee, Jacob seemed to get over Bella rather quickly. Too quickly, methinks...

Also, the problem is, the big idea is:
HUMAN BELLA = WEAK!
VAMPIRE BELLA = STRONG!
In which case, Bella should not be able to carry her/it.
Also, the 'self-control' thing is sooo anti-climactic and cruel to Jasper. It would have been better if she at least killed someone. My guess would be Tyler. Don't think I'm horrible. I just think it's too much.

The name is unique as well as interesting.....it means: Reborn & Loved....which is also rather fitting giving the circumstances. I like the idea, for why should we try to rationalize something that is fantasy/fictional? I think the whole story is very creative and I find it absolutely fascinating how a saga was developed around one small dream. I wish I had such an ability.
